Thanks to these three audio guided visits, you will discover all the secrets of Bruges, nicknamed "Venice of the North" because of its numerous canals.

- We advise you to begin with the audio visit entitled "A discovery tour of Bruges", to walk through the medieval center of the city. You will discover well-known monuments as the Basilica of the Holy Blood and also the atmosphere of the city.

- Our second visit begins on the place du Burg and finishes at the Beguine Convent. You will discover among others beautiful museums.

- Last but not least, the third visit will take you through a less-known Bruges but as interesting as the other parts of the city.

Informations: Off the beaten track in Bruges

Departure point: Eiermarkt, or Egg Market, 30 yards from the Markt.
Arrival point: Saint Walburg's Church
Times: The audio walk can be taken at any time, with the exception of Sunday mornings. It is however best to avoid the slot from midday to 2 pm and if possible, to visit between the 1st of April and the 30th September, when all the monuments mentioned will be open. Nevertheless, the walk is pleasant all the year long.

Times: Since most of the sites are open from 9.30 to 4.30, we would advise you to begin your walks at around 9 o’clock in the morning, this will ensure you avoid the worst of the tourist crowds. We would also suggest you do not take this audio-guided tour on a Sunday morning when there is a service at the Cathedral, as this is one of the highlights of the visit.
