Florence: From the church of San Miniato to the Ponte Vecchio

Tuscany - From San Miniato to the center

Walk - About 2 hours - 5€ (ex. suppl.2€) Novel

This audio walk begins with a tour of the magnificent church of San Miniato, one of the best examples of Romanesque architecture in Tuscany. We’ll then set off on the walk itself passing through the Piazzale Michelangelo where we’ll have a magnificent view over the city and its monuments, and be well placed to see the surrounding hills and the remains of the city walls. We’ll then go down to the Arno river and walk along its banks to the Ponte Vecchio bridge. This is a lovely walk and we highly recommend it as an introduction to Florence.
