During the course of this audio walk, we’re going to explore the historic heart of Old Munich with its Bavarian charm and its monuments steeped in history. We’ll visit Marienplatz, with its 2 superb town halls, its belfry and the magnificent Baroque Marian Column dedicated to the Virgin Mary, before heading off into the lanes of the city to the Holy Trinity Church. We’ll pass by the famous Hofbräuhaus tavern. We’ll conclude our tour at the Church of Saint John Nepomuk built by the Asam brothers which is considered to be an absolute masterpiece of Baroque art.
