- The Grand'Place and the surrounding area is certainly the most well-known and typical district of Brussels, since it perfectly enables us to explore the origins of the city.

- During our walk in the upper town around the place royale, we will focus on the country's political powers and on hte history of the city.

- On the Coudenberg hill and the Sablon squares, we will discover the old aristocratic districts from the 19th century.

- Thanks to the visit of the museum of ancient art, we will admire works by the greatest Flemish painters.

Access: Metro station: Gare Centrale
Times: Open every day, except Mondays, from 10am to 5pm. In winter, some of its rooms are closed between noon and 2pm.
Comments: You can’t miss the entrance of the museum, since it carries the inscription Greisham over it.

Times: This visit can be done any day, but keep in mind that the churches don’t open before 10am and close at 6pm. Please note that on Saturdays there is a very interesting antique market on the Place du Grand Sablon.
