During the course of this audio tour, we’ll visit the famous Getreidegasse, one of the most celebrated and charming streets in Austria with its magnificent 18th century facades and unique array of old signs. We’ll visit the birthplace of the most acclaimed Austrian of all time, Mozart. We’ll have the chance to admire the Alter Markt Square with its original 18th century pharmacy which is still open for business today, the magnificent Town Hall and a magnificent Renaissance passageway. This walk will take us to the Salzburg Festival Halls, the most highly appreciated and elegant concert halls in the world. We’ll finish with the splendid University Church, a Baroque masterpiece by the greatest of all Austrian architects, Johann Bernhard Fischer von Erlach.
