This second walking tour in the lively Dorsoduro district is about a kilometer long. We will begin at the Campo Angelo Raffaele and then head to the Zaterre quays near the Church of San Trovaso. On this tour, we will admire a number of masterpieces of Venetian art: the Vernoneses at the Church of San Sebastiano, and the Tintorettos at San Trovaso. We will also discover some of Venice’s artesian wells and watch the construction of its legendary gondolas.
