Liege is an unfairly neglected destination. This ancient Episcopal city admirably combines the cultural wealth of its history with its magnificently verdant setting. Known as the “Fiery City”, Liege has preserved many remains of its former glory. These include its magnificent collegiate churches with their amazing cloisters, a masterpiece of baptismal fonts and the spectacular Prince-Bishop Palace which looks down on the symbolic ruins of a cathedral with a tragic past… What add to its charm, are its various districts, with their strange flights of steps, parks, lanes and unusual cul-de-sacs. Together, they combine to lend a timeless feel to the town. We have 2 audio visits -audio walks- on offer, which will take you through the lanes of old Liege, exploring its charm, history and monuments. The second tour starts where the first leaves off.
