From the Grand Béguinage to Saint Michael and Saint Guilda

Florence - Lower Town

Museum - About an hour and a half - 5€ (ex. suppl.2€) Classic

This walk in the Lower Town completes our tour of the Grand’Place. We will start from the Place du Béguinage. This will give us the opportunity to talk about the very Belgian institution of béguinage, before moving on to Brussels’ magnificent Gothic Cathedral. Along the way we will discover very varied atmospheres and styles: the very beautiful Baroque churches with their spectacular pulpits; the Neoclassic buildings on the peaceful Place des Martyrs; the Theatre de la Monnaie; the 19th century feel of the covered Passage du Nord; as well as very commercial streets and squares like Place de Brouckère and Place du Samedi.
