So what will we be seeing during this audio walk? Well, this tour will lead us through some of the most charming areas of the city. We’ll begin by investigating the ancient institution of Beguinage which grew up in the 14th century and whose charming buildings still exist here today. Our audio guide will then lead you along the Singelgracht, Herengracht and Keizergracht canals passing through the flower markets on the way. This will also give us the opportunity to talk about the history of the city as we walk past the residences of wealthy Amsterdam merchants. These peaceful canal banks will give us the chance to fully appreciate this city of land and water.
