Ancient Rome from the Capitol to the Circus Maximus

Marrakech - Capitoline Hill

Walk - about 2 hours - 5€ (ex. suppl.2€) A Must

Ideal for a first encounter with this city, this walk through old Rome will allow you to discover what lifestyles and traditions were important in Ancient Rome. On the Capitoline Hill, which was redesigned by Michelangelo, we will understand what Ancient Rome’s religion was. At the Theater of Marcellus and of course, at the end of our walk, at the edge of the Circus Maximus, we will come to understand the enormous importance that games and entertainment had come to have in Imperial Rome. Our walk along the Tiber will also take us to a lovely little island, the Isola Tiberina, which has been occupied by a hospital since antiquity, as well as the old cattle market where we will see three lovely temples.
